The myth of a 10-step skincare routine
Let’s be honest, unless you are trying to win a gold medal in bathroom endurance, you probably don’t need a 10-step skincare routine. Somewhere between serum #3 and salmon sperm, we forgot that skin actually likes simplicity.
Your skin is begging for a break (and so is your bank account), so let's dive into why less is more.
Risk of overkill
I get it, using all these products makes you feel like a bonafide K-beauty influencer (and who wouldn’t want to be them?) but using too many products can often overwhelm the skin. Think of a disrupted skin barrier, irritated skin, and breakouts. All pretty nasty stuff.
Difficulty in identifying problems
With such a complex routine, it can be difficult to pinpoint what exactly is causing a negative skin reaction. A process of elimination is much easier when you only have a few products to lay blame on.
Product interactions
Whilst all your products can be incred, they aren’t necessarily incredible together (much like mixing all your friends at your birthday party). With too many active ingredients and formulas, your skincare might be cancelling one another out, proving it to be ineffective.

Our advice? Strip back to the basics and go from there.
Focus on what your skin concerns are and formulate a specific routine to target those problems. Think of it as a bespoke and luxuriously crafted skin recipe just for you. The *insert your name* special.
Your skin and your bank account will thank you. x
