How to recycle Yours Only.
C’mon, say it with me now: reduce, reuse, recycle. Something we’ve been chanting since prep. Problem is, it can be harder to follow when you don’t have a guide to waste reduction.
So, here it is. If you want to recycle your Yours Only products, consider this your official how-to.
Our bottles
Yours Only bottles are made from 100% recycled materials. Most brands do between 50-70% but we chose to spend more to do our bit for the world (it’s small, but every bit counts).
How to dispose them:
-
Unscrew the top from the bottle and pull apart the pump, base, and tube
-
Remove the spring, and pop it into your normal rubbish bin (hold onto the other parts)
-
Clean your bottle thoroughly with warm water
-
Pop your bottle into the recycling bin

Our tubes
Yours Only tubes are made from 100% sugarcane bioplastic so we can offset our carbon footprint. Sugarcane absorbs carbon gas from the air as it grows. After it’s used as a raw material, it’s then transformed into ethanol and turned into our tubes (science-y stuff).
How to dispose them:
-
Unscrew the cap from the tube
-
Pop the cap aside
-
Clean out your cap thoroughly
-
Pop your tube into the recycling bin
Our pumps/caps
At this stage, you might be wondering, what about the pumps and caps?
Technically both (without the spring) are recyclable, but only if your local facility accepts small, rigid plastic parts (often coded as #5 or #2 plastic).
We recommend popping your tops and pumps in a TerraCycle drop off point. TerraCycle is a GREAT company which provides drop-off recycling and in-store recycling solutions for hard-to-recycle waste.
